The Olive client software, called VMNetX, runs on Linux and uses the open-source KVM virtual machine monitor. VMNetX can execute virtual machines directly from any webserver; no special server software is required. VMNetX is developed on GitHub and released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License.
Binary packages are available for Debian, Fedora, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Ubuntu. Windows users can install the thin-client version of VMNetX to interact with virtual machines launched in the cloud through our web-based service. Source releases of VMNetX and its Windows dependencies are also available.
The Olive site software is not yet publicly released, but will eventually be made available under version 2 of the GNU General Public License.
